MS Global Freight Solution moves press machine from China to Malaysia

MS Global Freight Solution Malaysia handled the transport of a 115 tonne hydraulic press from the port of Nantong in eastern China, to Pasir Gudang, in Johor, Malaysia.

The machine was first shipped from China to Port Klang, then transported via truck, 400 kilometres to Pasir Gudang. This leg of the journey took two full days. The cargo was transported on a 26 metres multi-axle trailer.

The length of the set up led to some challenges, particularly when turning corners inside the consignee’s premises. To make the drive possible, a site survey was conducted, and drains were covered with steel plates to prepare for the delivery.
