PCJ’s publisher, Promedia, has signed a partnership agreement with the Dutch Shipbrokers Society for the next edition of the Project Cargo Summit. In 2020, this dedicated project cargo event will be organised in close collaboration with the biannual Dutch Shipbrokers Event.

As part of the agreement, the Project Cargo Summit 2020 will be hosted at a new location; the famous Van Nelle factory, which is a UNESCO heritage site.

The Project Cargo Summit will be organised at the 23rd and 24th of September this year, ahead of the Dutch Shipbrokers Event which will be held on the 25th of September.

With the agreement, the parties aim to leverage each other’s networks to organize high-quality events. To cater to the variety of shipbrokers among the members of the Dutch Shipbrokers Society, there will be a mixed event program on the 24th of September while the program on the 23rd will remain solely focussed on project cargo.

The Project Cargo Summit was first organised in 2018 and has since gained international traction. In 2019, the event attracted 1,500 visitors from 44 countries which is nearly double the number of visitors compared to the first edition in 2018. Promedia expects to grow that number even further to 2,500 visitors in 2020.

Like previous editions, the Project Cargo Summit 2020 will combine excellent networking opportunities with a high-quality conference and workshop program.
