Crane Worldwide picks Antonov for 70 ton crane transport

PRESS RELEASE – Antonov Airlines has flown a mobile crane and fire extinguishing equipment from the United States to Argentina for Crane Worldwide. The crane and associated equipment combined weighed a total of 70 tons.

Antonov utilized an An-124-100 aircraft for the contract, which flew the crane and associated equipment which included booms, tracks, control stations and water pumps, from George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Presidente Perón International Airport in Argentina.

“We had an AN124 agreement signed, aircraft on the ground, loaded, and ready for wheels up to the destination in 48 hours”, said Dillon Lato, inside sales supervisor at the Houston office of Crane Worldwide. “Our clients expect and deserve the highest level of performance, and with partners like Antonov Airlines we are able to deliver time and time again.”

Antonov Airlines and Crane Worldwide have collaborated on previous projects, including flying 223 pallets of chemical drums on An-225 ‘Mriya’ from Singapore and Malaysia to Saudi Arabia.

Crane Worldwide picks Antonov for 70 ton crane transport
