United Heavy Lift (UHL), a heavy lift, breakbulk and project cargoes transporter, has struck a digitalisation deal with Kongsberg Digital owned COACH Solutions. Under the agreement UHL will continue its increased focus on digitalization and reduction of its environmental footprint.

Commenting on the deal, Jan-Ove Hohl, general manager operations UHL said, “We can monitor the actual performance of our vessels in our fleet with one – easy to implement – smart tool helping us decrease emissions and our environmental footprint. Additionally, our Captains receive valuable weather routing advice to take the most economical route, maximizing value and keeping our sensitive cargo safe.”

The cooperation has been dubbed “the perfect match” as it answers to the high demand for securing sensitive cargoes, UHL with its fleet and COACH Solutions when it comes to securing an optimal voyage.

Trading all over the world in sometimes challenging areas/waters Coach Solutions is the perfect option to support and monitor the vessels routes and assisting in decisions both operational and commercial, the two companies added in a statement.
