DAKO loads wind equipment moulds in China
Freight forwarding specialist DAKO Worldwide Transport has just concluded a project cargo loading at the Yangzhou Port in China. The 3,500 cubic metres of wind equipment moulds will be delivered to Mexico.
DAKO was contracted to carry out on-shore transport at origin and destination, as well as off-shore handling of the project cargo. The delivery and loading of the units at the Chinese port has been handled in cooperation with Protranser International Logistics.
DAKO informed that the main units loaded on the deck of the bulk carrier Senanur Cebi had an overall length of 53 metres. The vessel is already sailing in the North Pacific Ocean.
The wind equipment moulds are being transported for Nordex, the onshore wind turbines manufacturer. The group has a local blade factory in Tamaulipas and a concrete tower production facility in Nuevo Leon. In addition to the manufacturing facilities, Nordex Group also develops projects within the country.
