The operation process of loading cargo on breakbulk vesselProtranser

Protranser International Logistics transported a grinding mill cylinder weighing 74 tonnes and measuring 14.110 by 4040 by 4090 millimetres.

The Protranser team delivered the cargo from Qingdao, North China to Central and South America. The grinding mill cylinder was originally going to be shipped as breakbulk cargo from the Port of Shanghai. However, the carrier changed the schedule and cancelled the ship suddenly when the grinding mill cylinder was already in Shanghai.

As an alternative solution, the Protranser team brought the cargo to Qingdao in Shandong Province by truck, driving almost 900 kilometres north. From there, they were able to book passage for the cargo on a different breakbulk vessel. This new carrier requested additional lashing points to secure the cargo, however, the engineering teams both the seller and buyer, assessed that this was not possible. Protranser then provides a professional lashing and securing plan for it.
