DSV delivers 650-tonne component for RDMP Balikpapan project
DSV Projects team was tasked with planing and executing a heavy lift and out-of-gauge transports for a refinery project in Balikpapan, Indonesia.
DSV was tasked with moving the second heaviest item for the Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) project, a 650-tonne piece of equipment, from Kuantan port, Malaysia to the RDMP site jetty, Balikpapan, Indonesia.
“We are glad to accept this challenging task, which put our expertise within project cargo movement to the test. Together with our expert teams in Sea Chartering, APAC Projects, as well as on-site operations team in Malaysia and Indonesia, the shipment turned out to be an excellent testimonial to our capabilities in this field,” said Jonas Cho, Director of Projects, DSV Air & Sea Korea.
The latest delivery follows the one mid last year when DSV delivered a 950-ton fractionator on behalf of Hyundai Engineering for the Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) Balikpapan project.
