It is not only fleet capacity but the engineering solutions that the Jumbo-SAL-Alliance (JSA) specialist have up their sleeve. In a recent delivery of three Liebherr LHM 420 Cranes from Indonesia to Nhava Sheva and Paradip, the alliance worked with Sai Maritime to engineer a smooth loading and discharging operation. 

The vessel assigned for the job was the heavy load carrier, MV Combi Dock 1. It delivered the three cranes for J.M. Baxi. The vessel completed its journey to Nhava Sheva port on India’s 7th Independence Day of India.

MV Combi Dock loaded the three cranes, each weighing 300 Mtons along with its accessories, four spreaders and 15 counterweights, from Surabaya, Indonesia, and sailed directly to Nhava Sheva, India, and thereafter to PICT Paradip.

The Combi Dock I is equipped with two 350t SWL cranes, combined up to 700t SWL and one more 200t SWL crane, making it capable of lifting heavy cargoes.

The box-shaped cargo hold has a total capacity of 21,934 cbm or a total of 800 metres of RoRo deck lanes and a stern ramp with a 700-ton SWL capacity. Furthermore, the vessel can transport floating cargo thanks to its semi-submersible capabilities, enabling it to load any of your next cargo.

The entire expedition was closely coordinated by the Sai Maritime Agency team to ensure a seamless discharging operation.
