Vertraco Shipping has taken Vertom Joy, a newly built vessel into service for its Europe Caribbean Line, a company operating between Northwestern Europe and the North Coast of South America. The construction of MV Vertom Joy was completed in early 2023.

With an overall length of 128.26 metres and a width of 18.7 metres, Vertom Joy has 110 meters of flush deck space and a carrying capacity of 11500 dwt and 80 metres of unobstructed box hold space. And with open-top notation, this vessel has space for high & heavy pieces too.

The two 80-ton cranes it is equipped with are capable of lifting a combined weight of 150 metric tons. This gives her the advantage of being able to load and unload almost any cargo in any port, regardless of the lifting facilities on the ground.

Boasting a diesel-electric propulsion motor, the vessel leaves a greener footprint on the routes she travels than most ships her size.

The addition of Vertom Joy to the fleet means Vertraco Shipping can now further expand its operations and offer more departures per year.
