Erhardt Projects division has recently completed another heavy transport operation. The company moved the heavy cargo onboard United Heavy Lift’s F900 Eco-Lifter UHL Figter from Tarragona in Spain to Laem Chabang in Thailand.

The project logistics operation required the delivery of eight Rubber Gantry Cranes (RTGs). This process required exhaustive planning, engineering and precise execution of grillage and seafastening, Erhardt said.

The company’s chartering desk team ensured that the maritime journey was completed aboard the heavy lift vessel, stretching from the coast of Spain to Thailand.

Upon reaching Laem Chabang, the RTG´s were discharged. The whole operation was managed by Erhardt’s Middle East team, with the help of the Spanish delegation. It is a second delivery in quick succession to Thailand.

It is worth reminding that the company only recently completed a similar project logistics operation from North Port Malaysia to Laem Chabang. In that instance, Erhardt deployed the Yu Zhou Qi Hang deck carrier to deliver four RTGs. Erhardt team loaded the units at North Port Malaysia and ensured the discharge in Thailand.
