Trans Global Projects (TGP) has moved many transformers over the years, and now one more has been added to the list. The company has recently moved one unit from Turkey to the United States.

Moving transformers can be called the company’s bread and butter as it deals with transformers of different weights, for different manufacturers and by various modes of transport.

For the latest endeavour, TGP’s units in Turkey and the USA joined forces to transport a 150-tonne transformer and its accessories from Istanbul, via Houston, Texas to a job site in New Mexico. The unit has been delivered to a Battery energy storage system (BESS) project.

Furthermore, the company has unveiled its plan to strengthen its presence in Turkey. TGP has been present in the country since 2019, and the next step is opening an office in the port city of Mersin in the coming months.
