MACS upgrades Maputo service

PRESS RELEASE – MACS has upgraded its existing Maputo service which connects Europe with Maputo in Mozambique. By changing the vessel rotation the German carrier has shortened the transit time.

With immediate effect, the vessels scheduled to call at Maputo now sail the following rotation: Walvis Bay – Cape Town – Maputo – Durban – Richards Bay – Durban – Cape Town – Walvis Bay.

“This will lead to a shortened transit time which will place MACS in a position to offer the best possible service to Maputo”, the carrier states.

From Hamburg, the new transit time now is 34 days, from Antwerp 30 days and from Leixoes 26 days.
