Kensa helps bring Querétaro car factory online with shipment from Bremerhaven
Mexican logistics services provider Kensa Logistics was on hand to bring an automotive production line for a Tier 1 manufacturer from Germany to Mexico, ahead of schedule. The production line that was ready for shipment from Bremerhaven, Germany, was set to be installed in Querétaro, Mexico.
Kensa noted that the due to the characteristics of the load, overall weight and dimensions, the transfer was quite complex. Following the delivery of the cargo to Bremerhaven and clearing customs, Kensa booked space on K Line’s RoRo vessel, the Polaris Highway, which made handling the equipment easier.
Equipment was unloaded by the vessel in the Port of Veracruz and from there, Kensa Logistics sent the cargo to its final destination in Querétaro.
The company further noted that the delivery was completed before the agreed deadline to reduce the downtime of the production line in Querétaro. Additionally, the delivery was made in strict compliance with all the regulations in force in each country.
