The Eastleigh-based transportation company has shipped a private yacht and its tender vessel from Fort Lauderdale, in Florida, USA, to Genoa, Italy.

The motor yacht transported by Peters & May was the Benetti 144 ‘Justa Delia’ formerly known as the ‘Libra Star.’ The yacht’s exterior was designed by Stefano Righini Design, while the naval architecture and manufacturing were handled by Benetti. The interior design is by Zuretti.

The yacht was delivered in 2008. Measuring 44.2 metres in length (143.1 feet), and 9.26 metres (30.5 feet) in width, it has a gross tonnage of 456 tonnes and a draft of 2.74 metres (9 feet). It has a 4,000 nautical mile range and can host 10 guests and a crew of 10.

The yacht and its 5.4 metres (17.9 feet) Novurania tender were transported aboard the general cargo vessel BBC Song. This ship was built in 2017, and sails under the flag of Portugal. With a length of 144.7 metres, and a width of 23.27 metres, the vessel has a gross tonnage of 11,619 tonnes.
