Two massive diesel engines were recently moved by DAKO Worldwide Transport, with the final leg of the journey being a challenging one. The company was tasked with delivering the units from Europe to Gambia.

The 6,000-kilometre journey across the seas was completed on schedule, however, ensuring the final leg was done in the same manner, meant DAKO had to turn to specialised equipment. The units measured 11.25 x 3.35 x 5.58 metres, and weighed 190 tons each, and delivering to the power plant in Gambia proved to be quite challenging.
