Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has transported a filling machine from Italy to Burma, on the recently opened Burma service.

The Burma service on the Intra-Asia trade was launched in mid-July 2022. The service rotation travels from Singapore to Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia, to Yangon in Myanmar, and then back to Singapore.

As a result, the filling machine, shipped for a beverage company, was first transported from Trieste to Singapore in a wooden case, on the MSC Phoenix Service. From the Singaporean transhipment hub, the machine was then shipped to Yangon on the Burma feeder service where it was discharged.
